My First Trip to Florida

Mommy and I went to Florida last weekend to visit Nana Peggy and Grampa Kent for Grampa's 50th birthday.

Here we are BEFORE we knew that our connecting airport had just been closed... and BEFORE sitting on the tarmack for 2 hours... and BEFORE missing our connection...Looks fun, doesn't it...?
Mommy decided we shouldn't show any AFTER photos... but actually, I did pretty well, considering.

Here I am with Grampa Kent. Happy Birthday!! He's wearing a really cool t-shirt.Here's Nana with us. I'm still recovering from the day of travel and a little sleepy.Usually I like to pose for the camera, but traveling wore me out!
Here I am. Recovered. And very pleased after just having a big bowl of avocados! They're my favorite.Nana and Grampa are helping me get ready for my bath.Nana's putting on my favorite bath-time CD.This is my first real sink bath! It was very luxurious. Granite... Plush towels... Come on Mom and Dad, what's up with not doing it this way at home!?

Here we are at the Mote Aquarium in Sarasota. It was really cold that day, so I'm bundled up.

Look, Daddy, I'm not afraid of the big sharks! Well, maybe a little... think they'll see me if I hide behind my blanket?
I liked the dolphins better.
Getting some Vitamin D for Daddy... Daddy had to stay home to work, by the way, and I sure missed him!

Here's me and Mommy on our way to the beach. It was warmer that day.
I'm so excited! And I finally get to wear my awesome beach outfit from Auntie Danielle.

It was windy once we got there, so I had to get bundled up again.

But I still gave Mommy kisses anyway.

I was mad at the seagulls... they stole Mommy's granola bar right out of her hand. Here I am all bundled.

It was fun!

Don't let the wind blow me away!
Here I am with Nana and the awesome new outfit she got me.

Can't wait to see you again Nana and Grampa!!

I'm 7 Months Old! And I Can Sit!

It helps to be able to hold on to your toes.I like playing with bowls. And of course I still put EVERYTHING in my mouth.
Here's my Mozart Magic Cube.
I'm attacking it with my alligator.
Sitting rocks! And so does my fighting Irish sweatshirt!

And the Winner is....

Halloween Fun!

Here I am with Mom waiting on the front porch for the trick-or-treaters... where are they already?I'm a black cat, by the way.Mom is my master. She just told me I don't get any candy this year.
Maybe I can eat this pumpkin instead.

Somehow I've gotta get the top off.
Mom decided she should put on a costume, so she went as an Angel... she said this was to pay our respects to Anakin... I hear he was a cool cat, like me.

Now Daddy is going as my master.

Yeah for Daddy!
You're SO funny!

Ok, but now you're TOO funny... so please stop!

Yeah! Daddy got himself a costume too... can you guess who he is?

My First Solids (again) with Jared!!!

After turning 6 months old, Mom decided I could try solid foods again. My uncle Jared got to be there for the first tastes. Here I am with Daddy and uncle Jared. He brought me an IU bib -- cool!I really wanted a 6 inch philly cheese steak on wheat, but I only got cereal. I managed to give my new bib a workout! Here I am with cereal -- Take 3. See my cool bib from Auntie Angie and Uncle TJ?? It's awesome! I can't wait until Mom lets me have pasta.

Hmmm... it's ok...

But only if you let me feed myself.

Wow! I really needed that bib!

I decided the cereal tastes like crap.... and that Daddy should eat it instead. Eat your food Daddy!!!

Mmmmm, homemade squash... this is better.
Here I am falling into a squash coma.
