My Trip to the Pumpkin Farm

Last weekend Mom and Dad took me to Ganyard Hill Farm to meet some animals and pick some pumpkins.

Here I am with Dad feeding the goats.Dad was a little freaked out at first.I wasn't really sure what to think of the goats either. They were so hungry I thought they might take off Daddy's hand! This guy was starving!Mommy picked two pumpkins for us. It was a good thing we had plenty of burp cloths -- those pumpkin stems were prickly! Mommy had to wade through the mud to get our pumpkins.
Isn't Daddy strong???!!!Dad wanted to make sure we soaked up lots of Vitamin D, but Mom made me wear a hat.
Like all things, I really wanted to put the corn stalk in my mouth. On the hayride... I was sleepy.

Hayride rally cap!
Me and Mom after a little lunch. See you next year!

I ate cereal...!!!

...And then I didn't poop for days!!!

Here I am fighting to feed myself.I was still hungry after the cereal, so I tried to eat Mom's face. Here I am spitting up cereal on Dad's head.He has no idea!I'm feeling pretty full.
And ready for a cozy walk around the neighborhood.
Daddy dresses me pretty well for our walks.
Here's my Rocky Balboa look -- don't I look like I just came from the gym? It's actually a makeshift scarf for the cold weather.

My Visit with Nana and Grampa

I was so happy that Nana Peggy and Grampa Kent came to visit me over my Mommy's birthday. We had so much fun!

Here I am with Grampa Kent, just hanging out.Daddy is really excited. Mom says this was a miracle for me to sleep in my bouncer seat. I must have been really, really tired, because usually I make them work harder for sleep. See what I mean? Here's Nana trying to rock me back to sleep. I'm fighting it!
Me and Grampa watching Uncle Jared on SNL... cool, I know a star!

I love to play Nana Lucy's organ. Especially the percussion buttons.
Me, Mom and Nana on the way to the airport. Come back soon!!

I'm Five Months Old!!

"Yeah! I'm five months old!" "I love to drool all over everything!"
"Does that hurt when I pull your hair out, Hans?"
"I hope Hans doesn't try to pull out MY hair!"

Reaching for Nana Lucy's windchime.

Rock and Roll Jack.
Sucking on a fuzzy fly.
"I want in the picture, Mommy!"
A cool evening walk and a giant drool mark.

Hanging out with Mom.
"Give me more things to put in my mouth!!"
"My gas station attendent hat is too small!"

I've got eyebrows!

See if you can spot them in the photos below...

Jack's 4 month trip to the Doctor for more shots. Ouch! We've decided that laughter helps make endorphins to lessen the pain of those shots. Daddy and Ultimate Fighting Baby wearing his hand sock to prevent from scratching his itchy eczema rash.
Ready to fight.

Playing with Dad. Master of the Tummy.
Sleepy soccer ball boy. (Daddy would like me to correct the previous blog entry -- he does in fact know how to play soccer!)

This was our attempt at immortalizing Jack's footprints in plaster. As you can see, trying this with an awake four month old can make for a mess... After the feet, we tried the hands. Just made more of a mess. Here's Daddy washing off the plastery hands.
Labor Day party with lots of babies. All ages were represented including 6 mos, 9 months, 10 months, 13 months, 2 yrs and almost 4! Jack was the youngest and was excited to see all of the new things he'll be doing in the months to come. Here we are with Jonah and Isabelle.
